Those interested in Arctic Lodges or Reindeer Lake should give consideration to what species they want to target as their priority. For pike, June and early July are best, while prime time for lake trout and grayling is August through early September. Having said that, you can find all three species, and walleye, at any time of the year in Reindeer’s cool waters; the fish are that plentiful and the guides are that good. Arctic Lodges fly out of both Winnipeg and Calgary, with direct flights to the lodge’s private strip.
